i agree with lillepallt, its just as easy to make this as it is to make a horizontal one and this one isnt even powerfull... -

It's cool, and I am NOT saying this is a bad idea, but could you tell me the difference between a diagonal and horizontal lazer? (I just want to know!!!) -

I suggest using WALL (walled cities GOL element) for the heat ray, since it will remain stable even if the containment is broken -
