    how do i know all of this? both my grandfathers worked on the Manhatan project and helped reserch and desighn both fatman and littleboy. so jotbeas stop acting like you know everything because you dont.

    but an atomic bomb contains no deuterium-oxide and simply under go atomic fission through the rapid compression of uranium or plutonium. and before you say fatman was a nuke you better shut up because no nuclear weapons have ever been used in war only two atomic bombs have. which wher fatman and littleboy.

    nuke means nuclear bomb but your wrong a atomic bomb is nothing like a nuclear bomb an atomic bomb works by causing ATOMIC fission in a singal core. but a nuclear bomb causes atomic fission in a initiating atomic core witch causes NUCLEAR FISSION to take place in upto 3 other cores,or "stages". jackson_gaming is correct because deuterium-oxide is only used in hydrogen bombs which are a type of nuclear bomb.
