This is The Sphinx, an anti-fighter ship used by the Alliance, It is used to provide anti-fighter support for larger ships, and can be used as an escort ship. it is 555 metres long.

I was thinking of what the ships would be like if they were real, the sphinx for example, would probably be covered with lasers, have about 5 of each system, and at least 4 different shields for each area of the ship, yours, however (according to you) would have very thick quartz armour and photon shielding, and I assume they would mainly use light weaponry. -
