    That is to stop particles from entering the black hole. It resists pressure and has a high melting point.

    hey for a fun mix up, change the ttan in the middle to ANAR and concrete: set it up so the ANAR is closest to the BHOL and the concrete holds it there. if the core of the planet gets hit, the planet can collapse into a black hole, vulcan style!!
