or what if u use ambient heat -273 and a plasma heater on the center? -

I have tried a few different designs with a molten core. The short of it is that it always works right until the outside of the crust contacts the magma. At that point, the whole core rapidly cools into a solid. It doesn't help that it's very easy to make happen. -

EveryGoodNameIsTaken: lava usually just tries to stay on top of everything so it'll just float up although you may be able to finesse it with gravity or just cheat -
