An idea i had which took some inspiration from halo. These ships are a new breed of long range attack artillery. The LRNC (Long Range Nuclear Cannon) uses rail gun technology to precision shoot a high yield nuclear shell that can disable enemy ships

    actually starting with a prebuilt ship, even an empty husk with no controls, is less costly than building your own.

    the ships would be for looks only, there isn't any reactor, controls and firing mechanisms for the ship to function. you would be better off creating your own artillery ship.

    they wouldnt explode unless they had the nuclear shells. all the nuclear shells were recycled and the reactors would have been filled with concrete.
