    this is pretty cool, could you use something like cray(insl) to contain it and maybe cray(shd4) to give it more strength? i wonder how strong it can really be at best.

    I do not know if this would be any good past the conceptual phase. I made a save almost exactly like this, but I did not release it because I thought people would hate it because it could not do anything in a real battle situation. I like it, but it could only protect a small ship, and it would be quite a burden to the ship at that.
