uh, while looking at my save to see something i made a bad edit and accidentally saved the save post detonation of that edit and can't manage to reposition the bomb in a place where i got the same result. my result is absolutely horrendous now and MERC gets everywhere, no matter where I place the bomb. does anyone have a backup of the map?

Yea, I think so - proton spam sets of the merc which sets off the wall growth and seals up the wall. Heating it up just enough for it to melt and creating just enough pressure for the SHLD to be blown off is the key. It's really interesting trying to hit that sweet spot, too much pressure hardens the wall too much and doesn't give you enough time to damage the bottom layers. Protons help lower pressure but it's tricky not setting off merc.

Jimmyfriend: Fascinating, I think what's going on is the stronger the bomb is, the more the Nanite wall fights back. And these smaller, more precise bombs are just powerful enough to punch a small hole in it.

Beat naneks record. 124 particles and the wall is beaten. BCLN and explosive sing was used, however. 1687982
