interesting. There must be a way to reliably do this without the size of an electron beam. The issue is delivering the SPRK either at all times in the cycle, (as with BTRY or electrons) or at precise moments when it's needed. Using just METL timed out doesnt work because of backwards conduction, and ARAY fails because of subframe operations

I got one working using 1 SPRK every two frames. SPRK the bottom pixel of INWR. ID:2012730 It doesn't work in every orientation though.

It should be possible to get it working with only one SPRK every 2 frames, but subframe mechanics keep getting in the way.

That is strange. It was working fine when I saved it. Anyway, you could use PSTN to turn it off if you want.

The issue is turning it off. My current plan is to just use another CRAY.

OK I made it about the same size as the metal box types. I also downsized the subframe portions to 4 pizel wide one tall, including the aray, by quad staking the CRAY. In this arrangement it is possible to have a constant output with no input, but it's tricky. With a constant input on just the rear pixel we have constant stream

So far, the PHOT to ELEC converter is the most effective. The downside is obviously size. My goal with these is to be used in ships- No CONV makes destruction much better, and the constant stream is an obvious upgrade. All of my reactors ron on PHOT, so it's possible to have optic wiring through the ship allowing for this device to operate, or simply have loacal control as in the test save
