In a year, a single factory world can produce 13,487,193 capital ships or 2,472,236,525 fighters. The mineral consumption is the fundemental limit on the quantity of factories per world. Up to 6 can be active on any world at any time which depends on demand of ships, mineral availibility and what the level of threat is E.G. war time, peace etc.
This layout is then given to drones that sculpt the ships out of the block. Once all the ships have been sculpted, the remenants of the block is recycled through the flash forge and the ship hulks are then fed through a production line that adds wiring, circuitry, computer systems, insulation and engines. And finally, the ships go into another production line where weapons are fitted.
Nippy L.T.D ships are created from solid block of armour that are created in 3D printers. A space port sized 3D printer is fed molten metals by a flash forge that are then placed and layered to create a solid block of Nippy L.T.D alloy. The massive 10x10 km block is then scanned for inperfections. The production line VI checks what ships are in demand and plots a 3D map of the inside of the alloy cube where the ships are going to be made.
Ah, well i can't be arsed to wait so here is the next Q of the week "How are your ships produced and what is the production process like?"
I am not kidding, we dont really have main fighters, so just bring in the destoyers.
Carriers deploy these fighters in huge swarms, and assist them by boosting their shield power, processing information and modifying and repairing them during the battle. The fighters are controlled by 2 microcomputers inside them, these computers give the fighters very fast reaction times, and let them do complex tasks like assembling ftl devices from asteroids or predicting enemy actions.
Korlonian fighters are very small, and can accelerate very very quickly in any direction, this along with their advanced sensors allows them to avoid most attacks. Their shielding is weak, but can adapt to different attacks. Their weapons usually include anti-ion cannons and precision railguns.
Each fighter is also linked to all allied ships within 150km, creating a huge information network and allowing more acurate manuvers.
