to sum it up: when phase cloak is activated you go to a dimension that is like our universe but there is no matter inside of it. in use an enemy will see this and think that you have just warped away or something. while in p-space you activate your modified warp coils to track the enemy that is moving away and plug it into a monitor which shows the enemy ship moving away. then you warp back behind the enemy ship and use your strike weaponry to destroy its engines or any other exposed part.
-
while in p-space you can see other ships via a modified warp coil so you can see them but they cant see yoy.
-
if you developed a phase cloaking detector package for your coms you could see them in a heads up display when it is activated. p-space is closely connected to our universe so you can class the 'tepeporting' as cloaking.
-
p-space is an alternate reality of our universe where there is nothing. say a ship was in combat and it used phase cloaking it would be in that location but in the other dimension.

I have a new biography. Edited and revised!

@nippy, is the effect you are trying to achieve cloaking, except instead of just disappearing from sight, the ship disappears completely. If this is what you mean, there is no way to do it yet in tpt, but PHAS could be an interesting element.

Is there some kind of specific area the phason teleports with to p-space? If not, then you end up with the whole universe being teleported or just a fraction of it. Since PHAS dosen't actually exist in the powder toy, I can't be exactly sure what its specific properties are.
