Actually, the mass of a neutron is comparable to that of a proton, so gravity remains a constant. While a neutron star wouldn't have rigid surfaces, it would still be solid due to it having mass. Now, on smaller scales, the effects of gravity would be miniscule, so it probably wouldn't form a solid. Anyway, there is conjecture that neutronium can't even exist outside of a neutron star, so this is a non-issue.

a neutron star is the most densest thing in the universe except from a black hole and anyway a neutron star is entrely made of neutrons so it cant make any solid form as it has no protons or electrons to turn it in to any useable element.

Realisticly it weighs nowhere near as much as a planet, nor a neutron star. Imagine 5 of the ships with non-layered armour, that is roughly the weight of the ships, to be even comparable to the weight of a planet you would need over a billion (probably even more) layers.

Compression armor is not alloy it scaled down version of a neutron star. To give you an example, the The Sphinx weighs as much as the planet being onle 555 long. The end result pushing it with nuclear explosions is invalid. Real armor id:1440194

I use layered armor, because you encounter plenty of bomb related elements, I also don't think it is unfair, think of it as an alloy.

I originally created it to improve on the armour that other ships and walls used, and then realised that you can make 5 layers of armour, and used it as a BOMB resistant layer and then I stopped using cheaty weapons, but kept using the armour, not realising that it was so powerful, now, it is probably still unfair, but some of the (non-cheaty) weapons that are scattered around tpt could make layered armour required to stand a chance against them.

I don't use it either, in my mind, being physically impossible in the real world makes it cheating. If you have to use it to make something awesome work (like a reactor or a weapon or a fuel source or an engine) that could get a pass, but I don't use it to entirely armour my ships.
