I don't use it either, in my mind, being physically impossible in the real world makes it cheating. If you have to use it to make something awesome work (like a reactor or a weapon or a fuel source or an engine) that could get a pass, but I don't use it to entirely armour my ships. -

That probably wouldn't be a suitable armour component though, being able to go through anything and heating it up a lot, and getting destroyed by gravity shields. -
