  So, what about a hybrid engine that uses a small glow reactor, but switches to an isoz fuel supply when it needs to be powerful? So you can get power and stability from one engine.

  I was think @thenewpowder, about the fusion drives we are working on, and what if we used isoz for the fuel source, when isoz is under negative pressur it emit photons which can be converted into hygn using neut. By putting a box of layered izoz and exposing it to negative pressure, using portals to transport the photons from the fuel tanks. Then we have a new type of engine? you are probably better than me, would you mind making a prototype?

  I'm not sure if I understand that, wouldn't the people be standing still (or moving if they are on different planets) relative to each other, but with only the tachyon moving?

  But the time dilation DOES apply to the sender and reciever of the messages, who are travelling at light speed in each other's frame of reference.

  Time dilation doesn't apply to tachyons because of their imaginary mass. So, they can break the speed of light without going back in time. (Stopping nerd talk)

  But what about the violation of causality? If you sent a message with a tachyon based communication device while travelling at light speed, and the person who recieved it sent a reply, you would recieve their reply before you send the message yourself due to the effects of time dilation. Such a concept is called a tachyon antitelephone.

  The Korlonians mainly use tachyons for long range communication and teleportation. Not directly interacting with matter or gravity makes them hard to detect. Tachyon weaponry is mainly limited to disrupting very weak shields (like a personal shield for a kitten) or enhancements for lasers that can make them get through rarely used double frequency shields. Even though they are very obsolete and would probably be overloaded by a single shot. Tachyons aren't as exciting as people think.
