In general, it seems that sharp angles cause this gun to fail to detect anything. (For instance, try putting a nearly-horizontal line of TTAN in front of it.) Other than that, nice work! -

You should try having multiple types of detection (neutrons and photons, that kind of idea) so that it won't be fooled by clear materials -
