Schneumer: You mean a coil gun. A gauss gun IRL uses permanent magnets and ball bearings.

Also, great concept, but two pixels of PHOT are not enough. I think this weapon could be far more effective with a different projectile.

After much experimentation I have decided that 90% of your gates are not needed. I am sorry, I do love this concept and I voted you up. I was able to get about the same speed with 3 gates placed progressively and precisely. It does however take a lot of trial and error to do. I used non wall stuff but if you were to use one of your short gates, one medium gate and one med-long gate you would be close. Again good work!!!
