    Its a Star Trek REFERENCE, and the rebel ships are BASED on the FTL rebels cruisers... so its not FTL or Star Trek...

    These "ISS"s in the imperial sip names remember me of the mirror universe from Star Trek (There, it is ISS Enterprise NCC-1701 instead of the normal USS Enterprise NCC-1701)
