Kinda innacurate, actualy. Syria did use chemical weapons, but they used cyanide and stuff of the sort. 'Caustic' really only applies to bases, or compunds on the upward end (8+) of the pH scale, as acids, or compunds on the low end (6-) of the scale, are called corrosive. :P
