I always assume stuff like this is real until proven otherwise, as it's the internet, and I care much more about my impression towards someone I respect than a random internet troll that sniped a username. I talk assuming its legitimate, as if it's not, it's an internet troll I have no care for, but if it is, then I do not wish to give the impression of doubting them, this method of thinking has never failed me before :P
