This is called Corium (thanks to the help of sentinal-5), but in this save its a mix of Uranium and Plutonium, and I can tell you how it works; Pressure is needed for this to begin. Free to copy and use in your reactors, but credit is needed. Enjoy! :D

    This seems pretty cool, but it seems like it wouldn't work well in a reactor mostly because the fact that it's self-sustaining means that it'd be difficult if not impossible to stop the reaction, which could lead to a meltdown.

    As others have stated, this is MOX fuel. Nothing new. I made a breeder reactor that uses it without ever seeing this save

    According to a 100px sample I took, it has a 22C potency according to my neutronic aggrivation scale (which means 22 parts plutonium for every 100 parts).
