This is the famous particle-wave-dualism. It says that particles (photons) can behave like a wave, and waves can behave like a particle. When you shoot photons through two holes on a screen, you'll get an interference cluster, the typical sign of waves.

    weird, if you press '7' then manually toggle off fire effects, the glow effect makes the photons look like a large solid ball.
