    Well, I've been dull headed! Yes, I have deco on. I realized, though, that I've been trying to paint the protons while they were in filter. That doesn't work! Thanks for the info. Now the fish in my aquarium can be proud of thier colorful selfs.

    Sandwichlizard.... I have a few prot saves, one vaguely similar to this,using filter and diamond, but have yet to figure out how to get protons to take paint/colors. Fancy giving me the "secret"?

    you can use the PROP tool to accomplish it. no ~ cheating? required. lol. is will save just fine. it is just setting properties just like ctype for clne.
