Actually, its not wanting to be someone, a furry is someone who is just a fan of anthropomorphic animals. There are different ways to describe what a furry is, however, that is the main definition.

Nolan, we're what you call furries (I believe you are a furry, correct lostfox?). It doesn't have much to do with anime, but for the love of god, DO NOT look us up on Google. It severely misrepresents what we are (well, most of us). It's not much of an obession as it is a sub-culture. :D If you have any other questions, ask. I'm your man for the furry fandom. xD
