Wow. Save demonstrating how the speed of light can give us outdated pictures of reality entitled "time travel", a less than fitting name, reaches FP. How does TPT respond? With a mix of religious arguments, incorrect usage of terms, some people who know what they're talking about, but mostly those who don't. :P
@Nyraion, it is the other way around. Blue light has the shorter wave length. And I am not sure if that is true about colours lighting up different amounts of area unless you are talking about diffraction: blue light is diffracted less, say though a pinhole, which is what causes that rainbow to appear around a light source through something like glass.
confusing, pointless but the photons/filter was cool
Nvm about what i said but about light yes but not the electromagnetic spectrum :P
@ShadeDrake97 Blue wavelengths are longer red is shorter for instance a red light will illuminate a smaller area because its wavelength is shorter and it loses energy faster and blue will light up more area because of its long weveltength.
how the [IIIIII] is this TIMETRAVEL???!!!! and how can this stuff get on fp? lasers and mirrors. whoooooooo!
Guys, please. don't bring religion into powder toy...
It means that the "outdated" picture we see was on its way here when the moon was in that form. But even light is not instant, so it is delayed. I never learned this, so I might (and probably is) be wrong.
