Fake title. Time traveling means we can go into tha future and into the past. In the telescope we see the light that comes to the telescope. Its something like an outdated picture. So, if we look in the telescope and see the moon, and we go closer to the moon (not in the telescope, IRL) we will see a more fresh(er) picture of the moon.

@choiahin that is why we need to invent wormholes as soon as we can! :D

@choihnin why are you hateing? its a cool concpet that has truth

@TheExus 6000y/o universe cannot be scientifically accurate... Unless you believe that God is "true", that is.
-
@QuentinADay That would be true if you could travel faster than light could. But since we cannot, the light from dinosaur ages would be past M100 by the time we get there and put down a telescope :)
-
@ShadeDrake97, well it did say in the Bible that God stretched out the heavens... a 6,000 y/o universe is scientifically accurate. Watch "Kent Hovind Creation Seminar" on youtube.

Here is an interesting concept: if you wanted to see just how dinosaurs went extinct then. if you could travel to the galaxy M100 and pulled out a telescope to look at earth you would be able to see what was happening to earth around that time, thus being able to see how the dinosaurs went extinct

i agre with mrdoctorwhovian, thats not a mindblowing scientific discovery. I thought it was a pretty common fact

Its the doppler shift, or that's what I heard. Call it what you will, this save isn't good, because almost everyone has different FPS, but it helps understand science and sort of explains how to calculate star distances.. Learned that this week :O
