    The "2 kibibytes", I mean. One kibibyte is 1024 bytes or 8192 invidual bits.

    It means there are 16384 invidual bits you get to play with in the memory.

    @FunkyPrince: if you're talking about VIRS, I think it's because several key features of TPT have been turned off for this save, such as gravity and air pressure simulation.
