i like it at -70000 for aesthetics, and i just wanted to let you know my first ships are blocky cause at first i wanted to try making ships that werent a bunch of pizza slices, they can get old if youve seen them as much as me (i used to play swbf2 space fights as the rebels soooooooooo much)

You mean tmp, not life. Lowering the tmp below -1000 will not make it more powerful. -1000 is the maximum power.

for the most part, i was using sing with life -70000, try putting that in that ship to see what was happening for me
