    a button so you can turn the pd lasers on and off would be nice, since the reactor takes a while to cool, and it doesn't fully stop for a bit

    How so? This ship works by pointing its front toard the enemy at all times, and frontal explosions don't even hit the laser. From below, it is quite weak but not any weaker than the rest of the ship.

    The air filtering system is also nice, but the laser will damage the ship if it bounces on targets.

    I really like the laser, it is not overpowered, but isn't weak.
