The main pursuit and hunter killer ship of the UHT, the Filament-Class is made out of 5 fused segments. This ship has proved incredibly useful in the war with Bio-Morphs due to its laser armerment and superior range. Thanks to Corpsey for the armor.

    so like drones? if that is the case, then having a ship designed to house the "pilots," (humans hooked up to a processing machine that allows them to control the various (maybe 10 or so?) craft)) would be intresting.

    Thats why it has the large secondary engines. It can turn to face enemies flanking it.
