The Longinus is a 22 m l/12 electromagnetic mass driver, firing projectiles at 90 km/s. Projectiles utilize basic shield technology avoid atmosphereic friction. Only one of these cannons survived the Imperium's fall, and is now an icon of their military.

    The schwerer gustav had a 30-45 minute reload, but couldn't exceed 14 rounds a day due to other reasons. I think the new time is reasonable for the gun and tech, but I'd rather double-check everything to make sure it will not blow up or misfire.

    It's shooting at ships that are hundreds of kilometers long. The higher the energy desnsity of the projectile the better.
