@Technomancer. You can totaly pulish your stuff. its a huge group project here and I dont care if people use my stuff. (i will claim to have initaiated this project though.) To everyone working on this, think of this as the "homepage" for the S.F.P.I. (search for powder toy intellegence.) (credit atomic 2385)

Hi, I'm back! I have been working with reproductive robots. It has two problems: One, due to TPT's limited screen space the spores can't spread far enough and are eaten by the parent/other spores. Two, the odds of a non-sterile offspring seem to be miniscule, and I'm not about to wait a billion years for it to happen.

Also, I've been privately experimenting with using the CRAY brain alone and making it more adaptive to its environment. Do you have any objection to me publishing my experiments? Obviously I'll give you credit for initiating the project, and for any of your work that I end up using.

It seems MORE stable now but it still falls apart sometimes. I'm guessing that the output from the new brain is more complex than I had assumed. I'm looking at the huge FILT-and-ARAY thing and frankly I have no clue what it does or how, but I could try tinkering with the outputs and see if I can get it working like we want it to. I'd rather leave it to somebody who understands it, though!

ok, i'm just bad at electronics and mostly just borrows with credit. So ill try to hook up the proccesor to the bot with 100 2000 300 4000. thanks

It pulls itself apart now, you need to block conflicting signals like the CRAY brain does. I haven't examined it in detail but I'm assuming that the new brain still generates outputs to one of 4 WIFI channels. If that's the case, just change those channels to 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000, and it will then pass the output through the CRAY brain's conflict-inhibitor circuit.

ive added the processor. now we need to program (just to avoid stuff) it and put your grid on it.
-
good job! put it in a save and share the id here.

ok i will get to work. and you need to put @RCAProduction's idea (a few messages down) into your grid so it changes. It should be possible just tricky to get right.
