I've noticed that TPT with Radial gravity enabled simulates orbits somewhat realistically. This save demonstrates this and might even teach you some rocket science. Credit to snail for the font.

    Shouldn't it be like when you get into orbit you never stop? It's not like there's atmosphere to slow you down

    @penguindude. its called period doubling and happens very often with nonlinear systems like this. check out the feigenbaum series on wikipedia for a better explanation

    worked great just that the stickman keeps crashing into the signs, and the dust is the only thing maintaining a stable orbit +1

    add forward thrust at the high point of the orbit or reverse thrust at the low point to round out the orbit.

    Use 3 once in orbit, it will help you track orbit shape
