    @CaptDallas Normally, yes. This ship's control over gravity counteracts that. With regards to the cost, this ship is comprised of about 1.3 million solar masses worth of material. The Milky Way galaxy alone has more that 200 billion solar masses. Construction cost is not at issue.

    You do realize that a starship this large would have its own gravity effect, in which it would pull planets and even stars into it. Also this ship would take so many resources that it's almost impossible to build.
