This represents, to the best of my Powderability, an imaginary cross-section of that small portion of the Niagara Escarpment where I live. Rain on it, and the water follows natural pathways in the cracked bedrock.

    It's Lake Michigan. Look at a map of Wisconsin. It's like a mitten; I live on the thumb. Glaciers carved it out. Hella lot of limestone with gravel and finer ground stuff left by the glaciers.
