    No, he researched ballista a little while ago or something... and it's almost the industrial era so ballistas really aren't that hard... oh, and I assume that if you have a tech that you use it...

    I send civilians to harvest hair from the dead pony for insulation and clothing, meat for food, the armor for metal and stuff, and whatever else is in the pony.

    I used airships borrowed from Nlatham. BTW, Ultra never developed ballista or any other artillery tech. Actually, no one in TGAOK has developed anything but better materials.
