I use some airships borrowed from Atomic and Lath to fly up and attack from there. Your ponies will die in explosions and firebombs.

and they probably only have armor on their legs, because that would be incredibly expensive and pointless to armor all of them...

They are 10km tall and they got a gaint armor so your ballista is like a toothpick against an energy shield
