my priests now split into 2 divisions after the almost failure of htem. one conitues with religious activites, the other dedicates itself to figuring out how chemicals work. their first development is to make a chemical that if taken into the bloodstream can slow down a persons thoughts and movement. it is then used by the more skilful of my warriors on their weapons.
