I see smoke gushing into the air SW from my captital, my people get a bit scared, and I train 1k Troops and build a fortress in my capital (This becomes a HQ, if it is captured or destroyed, its game over...)

I train 1k troops and I start to research the fertilizer

i create floating farms-large, flat rafts that have dirt on them-wich i put on the lake to grow crops. i also start to expand around the lake.
