    You will also be assigned a race (human, aimian, horneater, parshendi) based on where you choose to start.

    Highstorms hit every once in a while; they are unpredictable but math can help determine when they will strike. They are basically hurricane sized storms that travel across Roshar from east to west. Laits (places shielded from Highstorms by mountains and such) are good places to wait out a highstorm, but flying debris can kill.

    We will be using pre-stone age tech, and getting started is tricky so I'll be giving you instructions on how to survive on Roshar easier.
