Methane drill? The methane refinery uses the Sabatier Reaction to make methane out of Mars' CO2 atmosphere and some hydrogen that I assume you get from electrolyzing water.

I invest the metal and silicone into making the methane drill quicker... and the water can just be stored for now.

You can use reverse osmosis, electrochemical reactions, enzymes (which you don't have) or use an anion exchange system.

By doing *static* to the water, which will make it drinkable. (AKA, IDK)
