    You haven't always had ships that can get into orbit that easily, when space travel got to a stage where it was more common, but efficiency was still a priority cities on the equator would naturally get bigger, and would generally be more suitable than the less modern cities which were not designed for a space faring civilisation.

    It's so hard though! I have to be a lot more precise because (I think) more people that play TPT live in the U.S. than, say, Ethiopia, and that means that they will likely recognize more mistakes. Not only that, but because of the placement of the prime meridian, neither map gets a good view of western Europe. Can we just say that China took over the world or something? Please? :P
