    I research ion engines. In 6 years time, all my planes (including the Wright Brothers's plane, which I am restoring), to incorporate ion engines.

    Haven't I been training troops ever since I was inactive? If so then I build a massive "gun wall", which is a large mass of artillery moving in a line (Old British tactic). I also order the construction of military bases as they go for extra support.
