I ask Kevin to send me some resources so that I can build a few space fighters to send against Regina. Victoria Non Dormitat!(That's Latin for Victory never sleeps)
-
I also start construction of warships
-
Keveno what is going on about the rengana. i cant keep up with all this chat
-
Antimatter would only do minimal damage at best, anyway, so I'm curious as to what else you can think up.
-
Novae, do you have tissue samples we could study? We could also use nanobots carried by a missile to seek and destroy central cells of the armor, or even edit their genome to attack other uninfected cells. Also, my strong interaction matter should be strong enough to withstand anything the enemy ships can throw at it, short of antimatter annihilation. We've gone from the limits of conventional weapons to fundamental physics, and now to biological weapons. What next? :P
-
I'm no biotech expert, but it seems like any living matter that regenerates that quickly should be vulnerable to mutation, which would effectively wreck the armor of said ship. We should experiment with particle beams to supplement missiles laden with carcenogens to cripple the Regina ships' regeneration ability, and then destroy them with railguns and lasers. Standard antimatter bombs, or even nukes, should also work, depending on how strong the armor is.

so what the etrurians are trying to tell the humis is that we need to create a long-range weapon with capabilities simmilar to the republic's said cutter blades... that can destroy the corpus dii regina superships... DAMN, DANIEL!
-
So you can essentially see the reason that the Novus Republic has been running from the Corpus dii Regina effectively since we first met them in stellar combat.

The only Regina capital ship we have downed, and we don't even know what purpose it served in their fleet, was actually not even killed with long range fire, but rather in close quarters versus a Republic frigate. This was only achieved through the frigate's captain disobeying orders and engaging the Regina ship with cutter blades.
