alright... just to let you know, china has almost no oil deposits, you will have to transfer into alaska, scandinavia or indonesia to get more oil

when it moves past, it redirects the asteroid away from the planet..

how it works is this... it is a super-large spacecraft, big enought that it has it's own gravity system, and propel it towards the asteroid.

your best bet is a "space tractor system"... thing is... you'll need to also have at least 10 times the amount of oil than what you have now... also, your area's oil reserves are now low, due to your research...
