    If you slam a large object into it at relativistic speeds, then it would cause the Sun to do bad things due to the high energies in the photoid creating a heavy fusion reaction in the Sun, blowing away the outer layers in what is basically a nova.

    I create a task force dedicated to intercepting and redirecting any relativistic kill weapons (AKA photoids) aimed at Sol (to cause a nova) or any of the planets. The task force uses extremely lightweight ships that use antimatter drives to accelerate to 0.7 c, and have antimatter redirection warheads. Several hundred of these ships are spread around in the Oort Cloud to intercept photoids before they get too close.

    @Boomtish yeah, it really bothers me when movies show asteroid belts as having huge 10 km rocks every few hundred meters :P

    guys! i have an idea... i need everyone to draw or chart the progress or add your space-fleets to this solar system model, made by planet and modified... id:2076443 pls send id's of your fleets as shown in this model so that i can place them in their proper place... also, novae, can you place the regina fleet aprox. at their location of where they sholud be?

    inbound through the asteroid belt. no need to worry, the asteroid belt is acturally not as crowded as one may think...
