    I send the probes outside the system, and check any nearby systems for strong magnetic fields (To prevent interference), then try to find if the 1/3x strength magnetic field here was created within the last few years. Afterwards they return to their original position, monitoring the anomaly.

    It was there to start with but tripled in power when the anomoly happened (Still, its so powerful that even a third of its original field would be stronger than almost every planet known)

    Was the magnetic field there to start with? Or did it come with the anomaly?

    The brown dwarf seems normal other than an absurdly high magnetic field even more powerful than a magnatar. There are gravitational disturbances appearing next to it that seem to change without pattern. This is the only thing that is different between the 3 superpositions. The source of the disturbance seems to be harvesting energy from the brown dwarf's magnetic field

    (Passing Jedi sees laser): "That's no moon..." -> ('_') -> (-_-) -> (0_0) -> "Oh. wait... what?"

    A new, strange object, appears orbiting the brown dwarf. Actually, not orbiting, but rather held in 1 place by the magnetic field.

    *This is the site of a superposition anomoly causeing this to be in both malofy and galfa
