The PHWR reactors (pressurized heavy water reactors), the latter currently considered as standard. Use as a moderator and heat transfer, heavy water as coolant, ordinary water (light water). As fuel, use Uranium enriched, with 3% to 5% U-235.

Thank you, Matera_the_Mad. The idea was to make a simple simulator, but as close to a real nuclear reactor, uranium-based, using the TPT tools.

Holy complexity! - and cool art

Simulation refurbished controls and implementation of automatic control, still in testing.Please send feedback, so I can make updates.I am open to ideas to improve it.Thank you!!!

Starting the reactor:Step 1: Connect the 4 keys of the fuel rods (panel 1 FUEL RODS), they will come down to the core;Step 2: Connect key 2, when the moderator (DEUT) reaches 300 C. It will transfer the heat to the vaporizer;
-
Step 3: Turn key 3 when starting the formation of steam. Water supply to the vaporizer;Step 4: Turn key 4, when steam buildup in the vaporizer. Send steam for the turbines and generators;Step 5: Turn on key 5, when the production of electricity, stabilize. Send electric power for distribution.
-
Step 6: If the core temperature is greater than 1200 C, red lights will illuminate the complex and temperature display, turn the key 6 for automatic temperature control.Step 7: Only in the case when starting the reactor, the moderator level (Deut) is below the heat from the core ends (FILT) and the transfer duct for the spray or in the case of excessive core temperature.

Shutting down the reactor:Step 1: Turn the 4 keys of the fuel rods.Turn off the other keys in sequence when the moderator (DEUT) is with the temperature lower than 100 C.GOOD SIMULATION!!!
