  Wasn't Chernobyl caused because the control rods contained a neutron moderator? Maybe you could add BOYL in the lower parts of the control rods to simulate this. By the way, great save. +1

  In order to get an explosion, you have to wait a while after it melts. There's thermite and gunpowder above the control rods.

  however the "biological shield" section did have a chain reaction and melted and e really annoying feature is the electricity going through everything after meltdown
