The reborn SFPI! Our goal is to develop and identify forms of pseudointelligence and life within TPT in the forms of PSTN bots, computing systems, genome emulators, brain architecture simulations, and anything else we (or TPT AIs we find :D) can think of

i don't think so, its basically trying to get the cell to evolve effectively...
-
So, the main project is a 'form' of collective AI unit?

I tested out the piston weight changing theory, and it seems to work!
-
One way to change the weights (in theory) is to have a small controlled piston push and pull the battery (weights) when needed.

We're still trying to develop smaller and more efficient perceptrons. Once that is done, we could combine them into complex neural networks. Learning can then be simulated by telling the network what the answer should be, comparing the result to the answer, and then adjusting the weights and thresholds accordingly.

where is da neuroscientist? schmolendevice? WE NEED HELP SCALING DOWN THE PERCEPTRONS! (and then also scaling it up to larger systems!)
-
like i say, way out of my leage, im more the ideas person here...
-
you definatly made it smaller...
-
so what do you think about the perceptron? id:2010283

well.. to be truthful we have tried to develope around an A.I we haven't even built yet, plus unless we get some really small-scale stuff, we won't have robots that can communicate... like through radio (photon) waves...
