    Wait a minute! If it did melt its way into the ship wouldn't there be a huge breach? Wouldn't it just throw the bomb away from the ship? Also, the idea I was using was that I did this while it was melt-tunneling it way into the ship.

    I jam my finger down on the big button that says ENGINE. I gimbal our only working thruster to the side at full throttle. This should force brittle and/or loose bits to fly out into space. The antimatter bombe is currently on such bits.
